"I encourage you to use it to step into the larger Truth of who you are and what is possible in your life."

Good stuff, thanks for the contribution. Perception is a topic I struggle with personally, yet exploit professionally.

Thank you for sharing! Gratitude is such a powerful shift that has made such a tremendous impact in my life... in face my email signature is just that... expressing gratitude:

"Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough, and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos to order, confusion to clarity. It can turn a meal into a feast, a house into a home, a stranger into a friend."

Thanks for that lesson and reminder of how we really can create our own reality. I used this technique during my pregnancy. I was attending pre-natal yoga classes at a location that had a parking problem. It was during the hot summer of 2007 when temps. out on the blacktop were regularly over 110 degrees and a long walk in the parking lot was not easy for a very pregnant lady. I decided to use my doula's advice, which is exactly what you have written about, and visualized myself parking in the very front about 15 minutes before leaving for class and it always worked. On the days I forgot to do that, I never got front row parking and so after a while, it became a daily ritual to visualize that front row parking so I didn't suffer the extreme heat on the pavement, walking to class (more like wobbling :) oh, and by the way, I birthed my son after 26 hours of no pain medicine and we went home the same day. As you say, remembering your future is in our own hands.

Found your "coconut knife" and made this for Bill for dessert tonight. We both loved it and ate the whole batch. (Well, I did halve the recipe so.. . ) His comment was "Yum! Tastes like Christmas!"
